On my recent visit I was on a mission to feast on fugu. So whenever I am in Japan during winter, I never fail to have a fugu multi-course dinner (hot fugu sake, all kinds of fugu sashimi, fugu hot pot/stew, etc.) at one of the specialized fugu cuisine restaurants. In fact, there are quite a lot of Japanese restaurants that serve fugu in Japan, but only during the winter season.
